Despite the fact that my hemoglobin again dropped, my doctor allowed me to come home today. It wasn't a huge drop (Wed - 7.3, Thurs - 6.5, Fri - 6.2) and I was able to be up and about for a while without lightheadedness, so home we came. Also, Maya's bilirubin level rose a little (11.6 Thurs to 14.2 Fri), so we came home with the bili blanket.
I am now on iron and am not to do anything other than sit around, eat, feed Maya and sleep. Not easy with a three year old, but Daron is doing great and we have more help from family and friends.
We take Maya to the hospital tomorrow to have a new level drawn, and I will have another blood draw on Monday with an appt later in the day. Hopefully, we'll both see improvement!
I have pictures, but haven't gotten them all uploaded yet. I hope to get that done tomorrow and then I'll post again.

I am so excited for you guys. Maya is so beautiful. I hope you get to feeling lots better.
You are so right about the pitocin. I did it with Shelby, but when they tried to give it to me with Chloe I REFUSED. But in the end, the pain is totally worth it.
Good luck with everything and keep us updated.
